Some of the images above show different blooms of the same cultivar. Due to variations in temperature and growing conditions, it is not unusual for the same flower to look quite a bit different on different days or from different growers. For instance, many tropical hibiscus produce blooms of different hues in hot weather or cool weather.
Many show-winner hibiscus plants are never available to the general public, due to small numbers, poor growth patterns, etc. However, the hibiscus varieties in this gallery are available for purchase (or have been recently) from commercial hibiscus growers in the USA.
